I see what you are saying, but some might not see it clearly and get what you are saying... So here is a pro built cage and chute on my evo and I can see how the center mounting would make more sense especially at those higher speeds. Here is mine just for reference...

Here is what Brad Hadman, a noted chassis builder with 38 years of experience had to say about the mounting...

BRAD HADMAN DISCUSSES PARACHUTE SAFETY

“In our cars, we mount them (the parachutes) down on the bottom side of the rear end, so it is on the bottom of the chassis,”

The fact is that the driver lost control of the car at the end of the run on several other attempts with out deploying the chute.

I'm going with this.

His car pulls hard to right when he hits the brakes and spins out everytime on the video from last March.

Well this time he hit the brakes first and a split second later the chute is fully deployed. I think the car pulled to the right but instead of spinning into 360s like he normally does the chute steered him into the grass.

Wow!!! Is that the same lamb that spun out before. There has to be some driver error there...

Does anyone know what happens to the body of the car? You think someone could get a hold of the body?
