Jason, I don't plan to run the car in the TX Mile as I'm NOT putting in a cage/chute/gearing to go 250. This is the same set-up that Kyle ran 240 with. However.....you can buy her and run her yourself if you'd like!

Looks like the project is coming along beautifully. We all definitely appreciate the updates.

 

The cage issue is kind of a bummer since it is a street car. Unless you want to drive around town with a helmet on.

 

^^^ Exactly. No need to run the mile, you know it's more than capable anyhow. The mile is hard on parts, better off enjoying it as it is.

 

Is it true the traction control in the Gallardo can't be completely turned off and even if you turn it off with the button it still interferes after you drift/slide too much?

I like how they at least make an attempt to protect the paintwork during such a major undertaking. Then again, they are a top-notch outfit!
