Underground Racing Domination @ TX2K11
Not on the street. The car might be 50-75 lbs lighter than stock, at most (due to the lighter exhaust system, aftermarket suspension, non run-flat tires, etc..) No CF roofs, hoods, trunklids, or anything similar will be used.
At the track, I plan on removing both seats and use a CF driver's seat to get out of the hole a bit quicker.

On another note I am very glad I don't live in Texas , where I live 600-700 rwhp is enough to dispatch most of the stuff you are likely to come across. I never lost a race in over 3 years with ~ 580 rwhp and ~ 640 rwtq , in TX the chase cars have more than that ....
I was talking about the powerband of a 4 digit awhp RB26 not a VR38, those dyno sheets look really good. With the GTR's quicker shifts and no tractive force lost to the ground between shifts and gearing that powerband works perfect for roll racing I would imagine. Thank you for all the info I was thinking that the 1550 whp Gallardo's were one of the cars that ran 9.1 @ 169 on a previous UGR test. I wonder how much power that car was putting down.
I did not know that UGR's dyno numbers were in RWD on a dynojet vs AWD on a Mustang dyno. So that erases I would imagine around 150-200 whp advantage. The other thing I don't know is what a Gallardo weighs with all the turbo hardware, I would imagine a SL with 1550 whp to be even nastier due to its weight savings.

I love these kind of discussions as long as they stay civil, a lot to think about and a lot of data.
One thing to keep in mind although the Gallardo and GTR due to there AWD may be some of the fastest useable street cars they are certainly not the fastest. There are 6 second and 7 second street legal cars out there.
The problem is its rare that someone sets up a car like that to have enough hook to run on the street even though they are out there.

I want to be able to use my heated seats, my nav system, and still hear my stereo without having to crank it to full volume.

One thing to add is that Casey from UGR told me that their 1500whp Gallardos will beat their 1500whp Vipers on the street due to the inherent lack of traction from any available street-legal tires. He basically said that on a prepped dragstrip, the Vipers are quicker. But on the street, the Gallardos are.

I can confirm the Nera was much less than 1500whp on that run. Again, that was 2 years ago and UR hadn't made more than 1350whp at the time. I can also confirm the Nera has progressed to way more power now, and sometimes that's how conflicting info gets spread around. People watch a video of car X running at the drag strip, then see a dyno of that same car making X amount of power, and draw the conclusion that the dyno pull and the drag strip pass are on the same setup, when in reality they could have been months apart at different power levels.
I can't tell you how many times I've heard something like "wow, I saw the dyno of your car making 1,026whp and then watched the video of you running 241.7 at the mile". Both videos are out there....so some connect the 1,026 to the 241.7mph. No biggie, it can happen.

It was actually first hand from a UGR TT owner two weeks ago...
Good info. Thanks, Kyle.

How would EVOMS latest 997 turbo (new porsche record holder txmile) do against these lambos? I just love these lambos, my god they are fast AND beautiful. Especially that Superleggera, OMG! Someday... someday..
Once I review the 60-130 and 100-150 data, I'll be able to let you know.
