Underground Racing Domination @ TX2K11
No. The AMS GT-Rs were the only ones there that would've had a chance and they all stayed away from the night stuff...
I don't have Peter's data. But based on the graphs that he posted up, his times were understandably slower (4/10's slower from 60-130 and 3/10ths slower 100-150) than the Nera's runs were.

In Tim's defense....that was his first time at the track w/ his Lambo. I ran 217mph on my first pass at Texas. 3 passes later, 241.7 on the same setting. It's all part of getting used to the car and can't be used as a gauge for too much really. As a driver gets more used to his car, the cars potential is reached more and more.

But I will say it was very impressive watching a 1069 awhp GT-R trap 159 a few minutes earlier. Both of them are very fast 'street' cars.

Good comparison between these two cars. From the videos and data that i have seen, i would say that the victor will be decided by the type of race. I think that the GTR is going to have the advantage in a 40-140 race where as the GTT should be the victor in a 60-++++. The GTR has been going through an amazing transition and i really cant wait to see how its top representatives perform.
Now THAT is one hell of a video! Thanks!
I know 1026 won't get a car to 241 but I do know it will get a GT to 224.

Conflicting info? The internet is good about that! Lol.
I can confirm the Nera was much less than 1500whp on that run. Again, that was 2 years ago and UR hadn't made more than 1350whp at the time. I can also confirm the Nera has progressed to way more power now, and sometimes that's how conflicting info gets spread around. People watch a video of car X running at the drag strip, then see a dyno of that same car making X amount of power, and draw the conclusion that the dyno pull and the drag strip pass are on the same setup, when in reality they could have been months apart at different power levels.
I can't tell you how many times I've heard something like "wow, I saw the dyno of your car making 1,026whp and then watched the video of you running 241.7 at the mile". Both videos are out there....so some connect the 1,026 to the 241.7mph. No biggie, it can happen.
