The Aventador is proof that God loves us. Lamborghini has really outdone themselves with its latest creation.

agreed, the old Lambos spent more time on service lifts than on the streets.
i am glad they added a good bit of german sophistication to it.
if that´s the only complain then Lambo did everything right imho.

I agree, I watched it yesterday and can't understand what Hammond's is rambling about. It seems like he just wanted to say something bad and that was all he got. There is nothing wrong with a refine Lambo. Supercars are getting better and more reliable.

Agreed... the criticisms on previous generations were things like "the A/C is like an athsmatic coughing on you through a straw"... now that the car has added refinement they are grasping. This car is officially the nuts... ahead of a few notable vehicles (Veyron, Konigseggeggeggeggeggegg, Zonda...). For those with one on order; I don't know how you sleep!

Who says we do? I don't remember how sleep felt since the Geneva Show

That was brilliant, thanks for the re-post. I cracked up when Hammond said "Helsinki Syndrome". In some respects I understand what his gripe is about, Lambo having softened the edges. Much like the 930 Turbo vs. the 997.2 Turbo S or the 427 Cobra vs. the Noble M400. Driving the latter at the limit gave a sense of conquering a beast whereas the former are pure outright speed.

Having said that, if I were to only have one car amongst those it will be Aventador. Kudos to those who have one coming their way.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP-700-4 Roadster will go on sale internationally in 2012, even though the Italian supercar manufacturer is yet to directly confirm it.
