Thanks. Its black on black with silver stitching and silver calipers. It has gloss black Callisto wheels, updated steering wheel with aluminum bottom, CF airboxes, Tubi exhaust, and clear front markers.

Thats a pretty rare beauty you have. Don't know if you are aware of this, but there was only 10 white SL's made and one was totalled in an accident so you have one of nine. I also know someone in NY that has a white one.

Thanks, yep I know about the rarity of the whites. However, I'm confused and hope that someone can clarify this for me. I read that during production of the 2008 SL's, only 172 were produced: 10 whites, 34 grays, 37 blacks, 45 yellows & 46 orange. Are these the numbers that were imported to the U.S.? As owner of the 9 whites left, does this mean 9 whites worldwide or in the U.S.? Hope you can help.

I saw similar stats somewhere, I believe it was Topgear or one show that was comparing the 08 model to an R8, and I am almost certain it's global. That being said, I am sure someone will quickly correct me if I'm wrong.

I forgot where I got the stats on that, but thanks for responding. For some reason I always thought it was 10 total whites(really 9 now), imported to the U.S. Is it really worldwide?

Correct, global = 10 in white. Now 9.
