LMR TTG vs SW & Dallas (Sunday Nov 6 2011)
Hopefully i'll get one of these GT's done for tx2k12 if not both, one T.T and one with a Procharger. Both will make over 1400rwhp...Blower car has a very linear curve and already made 1200rwhp with stock motor, testing next week with the second motor, 10 to 1 compression, billet crank, cnc'd heads, cams and the blower will be spun harder. Then I got a big bore storker motor for final motor. I'm doing a bunch of stuff to hopefully make the T.T car respond down low, as 60mph is 4000rpms in a GT. One reason I don't think we have seen a GT run real well in the 60-130 stuff, plus no body has really made over 1100 and attemped 60-130stuff in a GT... They also have some f ucked up trans ratios and the great thing about the Ford GT is they do not need a stupid 30g transmission. We do some internal mods to allow them to shift over 8000rpms and that's about it.
I seen some light at the end of the tunnel with Soroush's performance last weekend. If a person can get a GT to hook in second gear and make over 1200 rwhp they are going to be a contender....
Congrats on the win
We went 192 on the chassis dyno in 4th @ 7200rpms and that chart shows that in 4th @ 6800 is 180 and @ 6400 is 170. So 500rpms should be about 12mph. Its gotta be close
Kevin, IMO they shouldn't be worried about your parts, I mean if they can; "design and build their own TTG's" why dont they design and build their own clutch? I mean you guys did!!!!... It seems to me like this other shops feel like you have the obligation to share your developments, but what they dont know is all the money and time you have behind them, it takes a really profecional shop to do that, and I dont blame you for not mass producing your parts, you reserve the quality for your customers and honestly that is a great move in your part, and since I'm allready here i would like to congratulate you in your succes, and hope that you guys keep growing and really hope to some business with you next year
... PS, there is a new Lamborghini out there people, lets see all this so call TTG builders out there design their own set up, b4 UR...
This is all rather amusing. Both LMR and UR knows what they're doing. This whole thread was not to discredit SW or Steven. The owner clearly stated from his vantage point it looked close, as it did to us at the starting line. Now we seen the outcome, we all have done this one point in time. Give him a break and lets line them up next time. This is supposed to be FUN guys.
This. Way too much drama with these Gallardos.

LOL, there is drama with ALL car owners that are competitive with one another! Don't you remember not too long ago the p-car drama b/w Jitsu and Jamie? Then b/w the evoms guys and Rob??? Hell, the list goes on and on and on...that's why I've chosen to not be in the middle of the drama!
