like you, i'm someone who doesn't own an ugr ttg. but unlike you, i'm an unbiased third party. i was getting tired of the let's-make-up-the-rules-as-we-go-along-ugr-lovefest. if this guy has a turbo busa that can beat an ugr race ttg, big fking deal! we're talking two different classes of vehicles here. just give props to each as being amazing at what each does. why does it have to come down to a discussion about what's streetable and what's not? or that a ttg is an exotic while a turbo busa is a dime a dz at $25k a pop. the thread is about who has the fastest street driven/ridden vehicle. everything else is inconsequential. and it's not just in this thread - certain posters have a wonderful habit of crapping on all other threads that deviates from "ugr is the one and only" mentality.
i don't have a horse in this race. i just like reading about good builds and fast cars, and i actually really like the cars that ugr puts out. what i don't like is the i'm tough guy b/c i'm with ugr mentality. that i don't race in the texas mile or own an exotic prob means you won't give anything i say any weight - that's fine. i sleep perfectly fine at night knowing that i don't have to wake up every morning and get on someone else's jock to be "accepted".

Your opinion would carry a lot more weight if you refrained from the name calling.. has nothing to do with what you own.

Amazing how I, like you with no dog in this fight and new to this board like you, sees this thread in a completely different manner.

not sure if that was an intended slight, but having nice cars is not a qualifier as having a high IQ. you don't know anything about me, like i don't know anything about you, except that you really want the big boys to like you and accept you. you want people here to ask you about your merc sls, and you wanted to make sure that no one missed that your g-wagon was an amg, even tho your video was a bit dark to clearly show the emblem. that's ok. you go on living your life chasing other people's approval. when you've finally gotten everyone's approval, please come back here and let me know how great it feels.

actually, i forgot to state that i think the canadian busa dude is going a bit over the top with being obnoxious, but that's a different story. i just find there to be too much ugr apologetics being practiced here.

you know, you're right. the name calling is uncalled for, and for that i apologize. when i first started reading the forum here (long before i ever posted), it was a lot more enjoyable. but over time, i feel like the crowd has been completely polarized - you are either for ugr and against everyone else, or the exact opposite. maybe i'm reading with blinders on or something, but all other non-ugr ttg build threads end up getting contaminated with some sort of insinuation that it's not as good as ugr's build. perhaps i don't know the history of some of the other shops - they might be complete asses and deserve what they get, but guys like dallas performance should get commended for doing what they do without being sized up by ugr folks. and the funny thing is, it's hardly ever the ugr ttg owners swinging their piece around.

It was intended as a joke. You named yourself jomama, right? So a Jo mama joke was appropriate. And approval and being liked, well I think that isnt an issue. I work 112 hours a week. That's that's 5824 hours a year. The average worker works 2080 hrs a year. So I bust my *** for my toys and share them with fellow car enthusiasts. Not about being accepted or liked. And intelligence/iq, well I'm street smart and would take that any day over a college degree. I have successful. Business's and own my house outright. I don't drink, do drugs or gamble. My vice is cars. Im sorry that you feel that way about me. I have contributed to the performance scene by testing many products back to back and figuring out conversions for clutches that saved many people 1k or more in money. If your jealous, come on down to Harrisburg pa and you can drive any of my cars you like. And if you go threw my videos you'll see all the vehicle's I've had also. I love cars and bikes, anything that goes fast. Hell we even have a boat with a 454 twin turboed on e85.!

all **** flinging aside, i commend you for your hard work. i like cars, but am not envious of people who have them (except maybe SW, b/c that guy owns more cars than lady gaga owns obscure outfits, and he keeps it real). different people have different priorities, but that's not to say i have the bankroll to pay for those toys you have if i ate ramen all 365.
would i want to one day cruise around in my own ttg? hell fking yeah! but if i never get there, it's not the end of the world. life's been more than fair to me. i have a roof over my head and i won't go hungry anytime soon. everything else is/should be cheddar.

sweet ride - i never doubted that it was yours and that it's an amg. btw, nice shop too. pizza is the one thing i miss the most about the east coast. if i could figure out how to bring east coast pizza to cali, i would prob need to enlist some help to spend my fortunes. one of my favorite shops is down the turnpike and across the delaware from you - scotto's pizza in marlton, nj - if you ever happen to be out that way - amazing slice. then again, you might be sick of pizza.
