looks like his back tailed out. with 4 wheel drive and traction control should this happen even at a hard acceleration after a turn?

You can still slide it a bit even with ESP on with hard direction changes or sudden throttle in lower gears, but ESP would correct it very quickly. Maybe he turned the ESP off or is incredibly ham fisted.

I was wondering if maybe the car was converted to rear wheel drive? Sure looked like it spun way to easily.

I doubt it. Someone who converts it to RWD tends to know what they're doing as far as driving

It'll easily spin in 1st/2nd gear in a corner of that radius at that speed if you step on it.
