No pot to be stirred, really. I am pretty sure there has been 1 or 2 other FGTs that have beaten the UGR mile record. I am also pretty sure UGR has not put any focus on the mile in the past few years and diverted their attention towards the 1/2 mile (which they hold the record for) since the 1 mile is too dangerous.
Street car vs purpose built, mile-car.
Sure one could argue, the FGT is still a 'street car', but it is more purpose built, than it is street car
UR TTG on the other hand, almost like having a regular Lambo in the sense of its street car manors, except 3x the power.
I'm sure Kevin and his crew could go just as fast if not faster if they set out to do it! Not to take anything away from the FGT, because that thing is moving out!

No thanks.. I think my customers want to stop at the 1/2 mile. What did that GT run at the 1/2 anyway?
r stage 3 would surely go to 300 mph in one mile lol ...

I agree, 220+ is plenty fast in the 1/2 mile, once you start getting up into the 260+ range a lot can go wrong, and a lot more things come into play.

nope. That car is the same one that keeps beating it's own records. It was white and blue like mine, funky digital camo and now this color combo.
I remember the first 2-3 times I went to the Mile, Mark was there in that car. His was identical to mine except smaller turbos. I beat him by a few mph a couple times then he went full retard and keeps going more fuller retard each time. I bet it goes faster at the Houston Mile as that surface is no bumpy and have good traction.

That car is fast! He does not even put real power down till past the half mile! You can hear the traction control system taking out power till well past the half mile mark! Once it hooks...OH ****!
