Do you drive your exotic car in the winter? It's bad for the car? I'm new in this type of weather but I hear the salt is really bad for the car...
That stuff is brutal on the cars, even if you keep it washed regularly.
You can also not even consider driving in snowy conditions with summer tires. So in other words, buy a truck or an AWD sedan.
I didn't drive it in the snow but I drove it 2 days after when the streets were dry.... But I saw some salt in the road... Should I wash the engine, rims, power wash the bottom part and wax the car? Or I'm being too dramatic?
our area's left over salt is minimal after the recent rains... most left are sand... should be OK... doing a quick wash with water should be fine.
Put it on a lift and see how much of it got in the car, wash it off. It's when u leave it on that's the issue.
That said I haven't had a chance to drive around... the rains were a welcome sign, and it rained again today!

We have to get together one of this days and go for a run!
By the way I was gonna ask you if the silver F430 that is for sale in Ferrari DC was your car? They are asking $115k and is CPO! Very tempting...

yeah I think it will just be flurries and it won't stick. Hopefully VDOT is smart enough not to salt the roads and save some money. And it's just a 30% chance...
If they don't salt, the next few days we can drive the damned cars! And we can plan something, I'll let you know I have friends that are dying for a cruise also...

just make sure to rinse your car just about every drive if there's salt on the roads, also watch for high levels of snow, you can damage your front bumper badly, especially when reversing it acts as a shovel and can rip clean off if you're not careful!
also if you hit any snow with summer tires, awd or not, you'll be understeering like you're on ice even at 10-20 km/h
other than that have fun drifting

I wanted to drive my gallardo in the snow this year, because last year I drove my GTR during winter and had a lot a fun. I see a friend of mine that drive's his Ferrari FF and he really like it.
Your options are somewhat limited not many make winters for the G.
Nokian WR G2's
Dunlop SP Winter Sport
Pirelli's Sottozeros
I'd personally stay away from the Pirellis they wear out much faster and don't provide that good traction.
Make sure you get the correct load rating and speed rating for the tires prior to ordering.
