I saw that and was the last thought that came to mind. With all the time and money spent was an unfortunate event. Never would wish that on anyone. Car sounded mean. I know it's over 2000. Was he not used to it yet. If ugr could chime in. Sad to see if he wasn't used to the car. A race at 200 + isn't the time to learn. Hope the damage wasn't too bad to fix

 

I truly hope that there is not much damage! Making this much power anything can happen and I am just glad that the driver was alright and the car seams intact as well.


On a bright side it could of been much, much worse!

Sorry for the bath but it could have been much worse.
Dial the boost back to 15 psi and try again making several passes all the time learning or GET A PAID GUN TO DRIVE.

 

Brings new meaning to the term "water cooled".

 

Good lord, no way I'd jump into a car like that, set the boost to 'kill', and try a high speed run.

Sucks to see, hope the car is ok. I'd imagine turbos that were just making a **** ton of boost and heat don't like getting quenched with water.

 

I don't think that was a UGR car...I believe it was a Heffner Gallardo.

The second the video started and I saw no rear bumper I thought..."this isn't going to end well". Hitting those speeds without fully functioning aero on the car is crazy.

 

That was the Red Heffner car. NO big deal, all was ok, it just got a little wet.

 

Just needed a good wash.

 

It lost the rear bumper the pass before.

We a pretty crazy thing to watch.
