Questions regarding lambo

OK, I have a couple questions about Gallardo prices and colors. Hopefully allanlambo can help out because im sure he would be able to put some good insight into this. I am possibly looking into a gallardo for my dad, AND also for me soon after.

Did the '04 G's come in lime green?

What are the current prices for 04s?

What will prices be in 12-18 months from now for an '04-'05?

Thanks in advance.

Im not sure if they made the green in 04, although I think they did. As of now 04 G's seem to be holding steady in the 135-145 range, as for what a car will retail in the future for, that no one knows.

thanks a lot man, i knew youd be right in step with those few inquiries. my dad really wants the lime green, as i do, but i like the orange and yellow a lot. i like the loud colors on it, just goes well with the car. i guess ill just have to keep my eyes open.
also, how relaiable would you say they are. would u say they are as reliable as a Porsche? close? i know a lot of people drive them daily now, but this will be more of a maybe 2-4 day a week car, mostly weekends though.

no green for 04, they came out with the green for the gallardo in 2005, i believe they will hit 120's low 130's in a year or two, unfortunately cannot import them to Canada, so me getting a Gallardo is going to have to wait for a lot longer as they are still worth 190 U.S for a 2004

The green is called Verde Ithaca (also happens to be my favorite color).

The SE green is simply stunning

The 04 tranny is not all that great - especially the E-gear so stay away from those cars. Don't forget most 04's will have no warranty or will run out very soon so that is something to keep in mind. I would get at least an 05 or if you can afford it, a 2006 model.

I know plenty of people with G's, 04's 05's,06's, and they all have been reliable. A good friend of mine has an 04 with over 30K on it, tracks the crap out of it, and has never had a single issue.

what is the factory warranty from lambo, a 2 year 24K? i figured theyd be very reliable being owned by audi. what about extended warranty? is this an option, how is servicing in terms of pricing? ive heard its not bad which leads me to think it may be around the Porsche pricing for maintenance? is that right? just looking for info. thanks.

A Porsche is a Highline car, Lamborghinis are Exotic cars. What does that mean? Porsche has high maintenance costs, but Lamborghini makes the Porsche costs seem like Honda costs by comparisson.

Being owned by Audi doesn't really mean anything, Audi's reliability track record is decent at best (Introduction of B6 S4's, RS4, etc).

The Lamborghini is a highly tuned performance machine, there is more precision and thus more to go wrong than in your standard Audi.

I heard that lambo is changing the gauges and controls to their signature style, and changed from the Audi-styled buttons. Is this true?

Thats weird because a lot fo people are driving them as daily drivers these days and most of the stuff i have read and heard from people who own them say they are barely more expensive than a Porsche in terms on maintenance costs. i have found amounts and they are not expensive AT ALL! The amounts i found dont seem drastic to me AT ALL EITHER. inexpensive if you ask me and if they are right, costs barely more than my 911 costs to maintain. can any lambo owners who have 911s comment on thise because i have talked to a neighbor of mine who has let me know they are not much more difficult to maintain than a 911.
