scissor door on g car?

Has anyone here know of a clean way to do scissor door on a gallardo? Preferably to be able to open it scissor style AND still have the option to open it regular way. Please don't flame me for asking this question, someone asked me and now I got to respond. Thanks all.

never heard or seen a car open a door both outward and upward? Couldn't you theoretically basically throw the door in any direction then?

domani motors has a scissor door option for $21K, talk to them and see what the deal is with the two way swing on the door. i know what you mean because most aftermarket ones allow you to do it both ways.

thanks for shedding some light on this guys. Those $1000-$3000 kits sounds really scary when you plan to use it on a real Lambo. I don't think we'll push for it. I can just imagine the nightmare. Hamann has a G car with some kind of a Fly-out door, no way you can get out of those when you park on a regular parking stall.

Lambo decided not to put those doors on the G. It looks best the way it is IMO.

Bam had it done on his gallardo. I heard the shop did a ****ty job. If you do it, make sure you get someone that know's what they are doing first..

I just learned that it swings open, wide enough for the driver/passenger to get out of the car and if you want to, you may swing the door upwards. Technically there is no need to swing the door up to get out of the car, but since you're hungry for attention you do it.

somebody is selling them for ~$5k, I won't post the name here, you can look it up yourself.

Thanks again to all who pitched in useful and tasteful recommendations.

Only the 12 cylinder Lambos get the scissor doors. I think it should stay that way.

The G is too short for a scissor door...save the doors for the V12's
I thought about doing it to my G when I had it for 5 seconds and then woke up

I think it should have the scissor doors...That's what Lamborghini's are known for mostly.
