Anyone not amazed by the Gallardo???

Interesting timing for this thread. I have been wanting a
Gallardo but have never seen one up close until yesterday.
Well, now I am hooked and have to have one. I plan on keeping the GT2 for my power fix and add the G for something different than I have ever had before. The ultra low stance and radical looks are incredibly alluring to me.
After much reading, I will only buy an '06 manual coupe.

Obviously you have an exquisite taste in fine automobiles. My other all weather rapid transport is a RS6+.

someone else take the depreciation hit! And yes, the RS
is the ultimate all weather car.
so wife says to me this morning - i want this car, just let me drive it first. i was floored but my heart started to race. so i immediately emailed the sales mgr with our decision and said we'd call on our way out there.
called just a minute ago and was told only one salesman was there so i asked to speak to him to give him a heads up. he thanks me for my interest then proceeds to tell me that he is the only one there and he has to deliver a car today so we should not come out today???? i was very polite and hinted very strongly that we would be purchasing today and explained our previous difficulty in getting everyone's schedule alligned. he followed with why don't you try us sometime during the week, preferably midday when there are plenty of people here. "i can't let her drive today because i don't know she will bring the car back."
these last two comments pissed me off to no end - strongly indicating to me that their customers make time for them, not the other way around......i'm sure it would be a nightmare with service
just venting

i could just use them to let Liz test drive then purchase from Roy but, even with my frustration, i have respect for their time. now i need to figure out a way for Liz to get some seat time???

Ron - i appreciate the hookup and we may call you on it.
so thanks Ron..i'll contact you for that hookup when we know our schedule for Houston.
ps-just discovered the murci DOES come in an egear so that opens up alot of options BUT pretty much destroys my car budget

Frank
My very good friend runs Bergen County Lambo as well which is very close to me
If you can find a way to coordinate with Dallas for a test ride and Bergen has a car in stock you like I will transport it for you as I am transporting a car from Houston to my area next week or the week after at the latest.
Bergen has Verde Ithaca e gear 2004 Murcie for 215K, 12K miles, new clutch and many other parts and a full service
Let me know if I can help you in any way Bud!

i never liked the G when it came out, when i test drove the 02 and when i test drove the SE. it gets the looks obviously but it never got me. i think its a little overrated to be honest.
