Lotus 2-Eleven

Considering the purchase of a new Lotus 2-Eleven as a dedicated track car. Does anyone here have experience and/or pricing information related to a Lotus 2-Eleven?

The MSRP is ~$80K. I've heard invoice is ~10% of the MSRP.

Anyone have a 2-Eleven or know of recent transactions involving new 2-Elevens?

Thanks very much and appreciate any input!

Regards,
sbpwjm

Have you thought about an Ariel Atom? They are produced only a few hours away from you. Similar experience to a 211, only more raw. Start around 65K. Since its a track day car, you do not have to worry about the pains of registering it.

There's 1 currently sitting on the west coast port (black) with an MSRP of $80,995 and if interested, it can be shipped to your local Lotus dealer regardless of what part of the country you reside in.

IIRC, Lotus brought in roughly 25 of these vehicles to the states and you'd have to sign an affidavit stating you will not drive it on public roads. If you have any further questions, feel free to pm.

Good information to know. Although a street driven 2-eleven would be quite badass.

There is a version with headlights. Just replace the 2" tall plastic windshield with a taller one & your road ready!

That version is sold only in Europe. As posted, buy one here and you have to sign off that it will never be registered for road use in the U.S.

Guess if you buy one off of a private seller, that wouldn't apply. Don't know if the original affadavit transfers, in the eyes of the law, with the car.

That said, don't know of any private sellers in the U.S. with one, but they'll pop up sooner or later.

Take a look at something used. Might be worth your while price wise...
