Just driven the Macan turbo at the launch party. The Macan drives like a Porsche. Like a 911 of small SUV's. Great driving feel for a SUV. Well done Porsche as usual!

 

I have a 2014 911 S and now the 2015 Macan S. They are both great daily drivers. My 911 is a very comfortable GT Sports car for everyday use, probably the best in the world. I have only had the Macan for a little over a week and have to say the boys at Zuffenhausen and Weissach hit this one out of the park. Everything is just right, handling, brakes, engine ,trans, visibility, comfort etc. Sorry to say the Macan is a better daily driver period.

I just test drove a Macan S a few days ago. I'll post my review of it later time permitting. Your second to last statement summarizes my impressions of the Macan.
