Because the exhaust gasses pass through the turbo mechanisms before being exhaled into the exhaust pipes & mufflers, Turbo cars are generally quieter than the NA (normally aspirated) counterparts. So expecting the Macan to be loud because the engines are turbos is not necessarily true.
That said, at my car wash (cars in an enclosed facility) my CTT was definitely louder during initial startup/ignition than a Macan S that was in there at the same time. But once back to idle the Macan was louder.
Will be interesting to hear the difference between stock and PSE on the Macan's.

Assuming it's the same technology as Panamera, a valve opens and gives a deeper tone. My car had it added after purchase and was done by my porsche dealership. $3k is about right for the hardware and then a little more for install. Some dealers may match suncoast if they install. If you have sports plus, it will activate it automatically when in SP.
The only bad part is that you have to push the button every time you turn the car on the car. I wish it stayed on because I won't drive without it on. PCA did verify that since it's all thru a Porsche dealer using Porsche parts, it's all cover under warranty but I would still ask prior.
