I am thinking of staying with this standard on the S I am about to order to save some $. I like music, mostly listen to podcasts but like to play some music from time to time. Do you think the BOSE is a must have?

 

Only you will know. Suggest you try to find cars with both systems and plug in a known CD to compare the differences. I did that last week. The Bose didn't sound too much better than the CDR+, but I went with it anyway so I wouldn't kick myself later whenever I thought the sound was the least bit deficient. Of course, I may still kick myself when I think I have deficient sound, meaning the Bose didn't help.
