Question about options - PCM

Hey all, this will be my first post although I've been lurking around for quite some time. Was thinking about moving into a Macan S after seeing positive feedback on this forum.

This will be my first Porsche, so I'm a bit unfamiliar with the options. Specifically I was looking at the Infotainment package, and wondering if PCM is worth it or the infotainment package is a must have. My family generally sticks to normal AM/FM radio and CD's for music. Also, does not having PCM conflict with the parkassist at all? That is an important feature to us.

Here is the build sheet, is there anything that you feel is a must-have or is unnecessary? We are trying to keep it lightly optioned. Thanks alot!

Configurator on the porsche website will enforce any conflicts so if it lets you build that config there you should be good to go. Final validation will be when dealer enters the build into the ordering system and they will let you know if there are any issues.

Power steering plus, wheel centers, headrest logos and light comfort package arent worth the money IMO. Had them or have had them at one point and the only one I would keep is the light package.

You may want to consider the rear seat HVAC, seems ridiculous to have to pay for a vent back there though, just crazy...

I agree, but wouldn't worry about getting the rear seat HVAC in Vancouver as I see it more of a benefit in hot climates. Also depends on how often back seat is used. Mine isn't used much so I didn't select 3 zone. Also, I live very close to Vancouver so don't have a need for AC in back seat so much.
