:::: MASERATI:::: Service

Hey guys, I am playing with the idea of getting a used Quattroporte and I am wondering how maintainence is with them. Also there isn't a Ferrari / Maserati dealership in Edmonton, so is anyone else able to service these cars or would I be stuck with taking it to Calgary for service? Heres the one I am looking at

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Maserati-22-WHLS-...QQcmdZViewItem

Thanks

Alex

I don't know, honestly I'm not a huge fan. Specially with your case not even having a close by dealer. I'd suggest a brand new 7 series or S class.

Thing is they are just too common around here and I am looking for something that is different. I love the look of the Maserati's and almost bought a Spyder a couple years back but was told that they are expensive to maintain.

^^ You should sell all of your lexuses and your truck and buy one Amazing Exotic instead of having so many cars. That way, you can go beyond unique and enjoy that car as a daily driver.

Maybe Gallardo or used 360 Spyder.

I would love to get a 360 but I am scared I couldn't afford to maintain it. The last Lexus got traded off last month and the money I had in my cars was invested into our home. Now we are about to make a ton of cash and buy another house so I can afford another nice car again. I have even thought about possibly buying a Maserati Spyder or F-355 but again its the same problem, no dealership in Edmonton. Amazes me with all the cash in this city and not a single exotic dealership. Everyone is taking to Calgary I guess . Any other advice guys??

You might have a bit of trouble getting service from the dealer on a U.S. car. You should really do your homework and talk to the dealer. I know people in Toronto that have been waiting 2 months for regular service on there U.S. cars.

Depends. Maserati BH was completely worthless. Couldn't even get an appointment. Luckily I live in an area where I have three dealers to chose from, and the other two were outstanding. Mas of OC actually sent a flatbed out to pick up the car for any warranty service, so I didn't even have to go there.
