2013 MP4 in white rolls in getting the entire car protected. Every panel is protected with Prestige Film Technologies ClearGuardX. How does our installation differ? We tuck and hide the film wherever possible. This is a highly skilled craft especially when it comes to compound curvatures. To protect an entire vehicle around extremely curved panels without distorting the film is a feat that few can succeed in accomplishing.

On top of getting ClearGuardX, the owner (who lives in Texas) decided to go with the highest end window film on the market so he can drive this in comfort under the hot Houston sun - Spectra PhotoSync. What's so unique about it? 98.5% of IR rejection (infrared) and does not use any metals to accomplish this, which means all electronics on this car would not be affected.

The McLaren's mirrors are one of the tougher mirrors on the market to protect. Why? Because of the curvature and roundness. AND, we protect it all. Most installs on the McLaren mirrors are actually partial where you would see a seam 3-4 inches from the top edge. Ours is quite a bit different:

For this McLaren, the owner of this car decided to go with Spectra PhotoSync Nano Tint. This product produces very impressive infrared rejection of up to 98.5% without utilizing any metals. Even the best of ceramic tints on the market only produces about 80% infrared rejection. The shade chosen is 65% for the sides and 75% on the windshield.

SIMPLE! With Prestige Film Technologies' Spectra PhotoSync Nano Window Film. We decided to document this test to show how well this product performs compared to a leading 30% ceramic tint. Test specs:

Spectra PhotoSync 65% (yes, we are using a lighter film to compare with a darker 30% ceramic tint)

VS.

30% Ceramic (one of the more popular ceramic tint products on the market....sorry, we are not going to name the manufacturer of this product, but can say it is likely the most well-known on the market)
*product to the right

Conditions:

Outdoor Temperature: 75 degrees

Test Time: 2pm

Measurement Equipment: BTU Meter aimed directly at the window films to obtain simultaneous readings for accuracy

Test Subject: Raging Gray Bull named the Aventador
