HRE is finishing a set of their new C-90's 19" 10" front 11" rear. I'm going to run Michelin PS 2's 275/30 f - 295/30 r It should work well with the extra rubber and the ride could benefit. Renntech flashed the ECU gaining 50 hp and 50 lbs torque on the dyno between 3,000 and 5800 rpm. (imperssive) Breathing begins to suffer above there due to exhaust. They have a full race exhaust system with long tube headers in works. Short tube completed to retain pre-cats. I'm waiting for the full system. When I get my wheels next week an alignment and lowering will complete it. You really feel the torque improvement in the mid range. I pulled away from a SL-55 no problem today. In fact I blew him off ! Can't wait for exhaust so you can unlock all the potential of the engine. Will keep you advised. The car is a keeper !

Since its a very exclusive car I am amazed with the quick release of performance products, I guess your in for an even more amazing and scary ride.

Congradulations and I would go for the Long tube headers that eliminate the primary catalytic converters.

Wow, you're holding out for their full exhaust huh?? I did a red BS with the Renntech ECU and the shorty bolt on headers. Definetly helped mid range a bunch and picked up a little on the top end. Doesn't feel like a full 50rwhp though. We haven't dynod the "after" yet. He still cant touch my other client with a 600rwhp ZO6. MB guy is mega pissed off. I am using the ZO6 as bait to talk him into spraying it.

please don't spray that perfectly designed and built car.... Tell him to buy an E63 and build and spray it but the BS is more of a track car than a go fast straight car, and I think juice would ruin that car!

Nitrous won't hurt it one bit.. if done and tuned properly... But I do agree, it doesn't belong on that car. If he wants something crazy fast, buy a 99' Viper GTS, twin turbo it for $15k, and throw 900hp to the wheels on pump gas for under $60k.

Yes. Evosport has a complete line of products being released for the CLK63 BS. Here are some of the items being worked on now using their project car:
  • Stainless long-tube performance header
  • Stainless x-pipe resonator replacement
  • Compound brake rotors (front/rear) + upgraded pads
  • Custom software
  • Carbon wheels
  • Bolt-in chromolly rollcage w/ harness bar
  • Aero Package (front lower diffuser, rear DTM-style wing)
  • Track Package (billet lower rear control arm, camber plates, track spring setup)
I'll post some pics and link you to the official project thread shortly.

Atan, that car looks AMAZING after the drop. I believe I saw pictures of it before you did that and had just gotten the rims, but the drop makes it look absolutely perfect...

Pics

Took some pics of the bolt-in rollbar on the CLK63 BS at evosport. Gorgeous! Tig-welded 4130 Chromoly...tight fit...clean install. This one still needs to get sealed and painted. This is going to be a hot item for this car...get in line! Here are some pics:
