Vincent,
Isn't either just a little sedate for you? Both are engineered very well but, I have only seen on E-packages.
Happy holidays

Ive never seen a Kleeman 65 before? I have seen many RennTech 65s. so if that were your only choices I would go Renn. If you are open to others I would go Evotech. Evotech was the maker of Renns ECUs

I only have experience with the Renntech ECU and lowering module for my SL55. Still cheaper than modding a PCar.

Both are great and priced close, it depends if your close to Kleemann go for it and if your closer to REnntech then settle for their Ecu.

I am saying that because you might need a close by dealer for these perforamance modifications if there might be problems with the process.

Cant say enough good things about my S65 Renntech! Id say go with Renntech. I know a guy that had a Kleeman Upgrade done on his CL65 and blew the motor - cant say if it was due to Kleeman or not but that was enough for me to choose Renntech.

Vincent, did you pick up an SL65?

I haven't heard anything about Kleemann's SL65, but a local friend had the RennTech one and it was a blast.

I bought an 05 CL-65. 1950 miles 5 months ago for 93 k ! It already had a Kleeman software flash. The car is unbelieveable. The torque is out of this world. I also had an SL-55 with Kleeman headers, overdrive pully and ECU. It was also very strong. Cory is great to work with. Renntech and I recently developed a relationship. They Flashed my CLK-63 Black. Hartmut Feyhl, Mr. Hammer, has been involved with AMG for most of his life. He is closely connected to AMG and I consider him the foremost expert with these cars. I like them both but I really like Hartmut and his approach to Mercedes hi performance AMG cars. The ECU map is expensive but you will not be passed by a Porsche, Ferrari, or any other exotic on the open road ! I left a GT-40 in the dust on an up hill grade. I bet he is still wondering what the hell does that Benz have in it ? Great car ! Steve

The Renntech map was a result of exhaustive dyno testing. I was very surprised on the increase in Torque and HP between 3,000 - 6,000 rpm. It really surges forward now on each shift as the 45lb of increased torque is felt. The motor needs help at higher RPM where exhaust restriction is felt. The mid range is there with the flash. I would like to run a stock CLK-63 Black. My buddy just got one so when we go for a drive together we will see. That is if he dosen't get his flashed before then. He wants their program too ! For the gain I think it's more driveable and worth it. Steve
