Leejai is infamous around these parts
update:

after all of saturday spent researching at dealerships, we've finally settled on a slightly used E550. After all the test drives, we're just not ready for an SUV. It was close between the E and 5-series and this time we went MB.

thanks for everyone's input. we really appreciate it!

-- oh, and to show my appreciation, I'll send a stogie from my private stash to those that helped above this post when my baby is born sometime in sept --

Good luck with the E550, its a great car and is no slouch whatsoever 388hp is great for a very comfy sedan which looks good.

Now does it have the panaromic roof ?,

enjoy in in the best of health.

congrats man! i just saw this thread.

i got the cls about a month before we found out my wife was pregnant, so i'm riding out the lease on that. very hard to get the baby in/out of the back seat. i looked at other models when i was trying to get benz to buy me out, and the e or ml was the most baby-friendly.

to echo what was said before - mb's are tanks. you made the right choice for the fam.

congrats, good luck and enjoy every minute my man!

pano roof I wish. I was really hoping to find one, but this one doesn't (and pano wasn't a deal breaker).

eaf125: good luck to you too....so far we're enjoying the pregnancy, went to the docs for the first time yesterday and i was shocked what 11 weeks looks like, (1 inch thing w/ head/body/hands/feet)...just amazing...

thanks for the info on the cls..we were looking at those too and I had the same issues. While worked well for the wife (5-1 max), I'm closer to 6 with a bad back and the e/ml was def easier when pretending to load baby in.

nick: thanks..i saw your post in the FS section but we didn't need the upgrades and wanted warraty for peace of mind. though, if the car is still FS in a couple weeks, I have a friend who might be interested. We'll be in LA for the Pac-10 tourney and I'll PM if he wants to see the car.
