has anyone seen any decent rims on an ML or GL benz.

no bling or chrome.

my car is black.

having a really hard time finding some good looking wheels.

any pics / brands / links appreciated

I'm looking for some decent wheels for my GL as well as some accessories (I want to put some fender flares I thinking, tint the tails, bull bar, etc) but can't find a decent place.

 

These on my black GL would look great.



22" with at least 250 series tires, if not more (as much as I can get).

The Brabus Monoblock S doublespoke or VI doublespoke in 22" with as much sidewall as I can get would also look sick. Brabus wheels are grossly overpriced though. Brabus also has a body kit for the GL that makes it look wicked.

 

^^ Those Mandrus Millenium looks pretty good, thats one of the wheels I consider when I'm looking wheels for my R.

I believe you will need 295-35-22 for your GL especially for GL550 fender flares

 

Can I do more than 35? I want as much sidewall as possible. After the trouble I've been having with my Bentley on 22"s with a 25 series, I want all the sidewall I can get.

 

Stock :
275-55-19 = 30.9'

Tirerack suggest:
295-35-22 = 30.1'
255-50-22 = 32'

Other choice
295-40-22 = 31.29'
285-40-22 = 30.9'

285-40-22 will have the closest diameter with your stock and if you want more side wall, I believe 295 also work.

Also, does anyone have any other pictures of rims on a R500? I am having a hard time finding anything!
