CLK DTM in the states?

Hi

I was wondering how many CLK DTMs actually hit the states?

I saw one for sale in AZ, asking 1/2 million. And it has 2500 miles on it. What was the original MSRP for these cars?

Are there any other ones for sale in the states? What's seems to be the going price?

thanks.

Out of 100 ever made, I believe less than half made it to the US. FYI They also made 80 convertibles. New MSRP is irrelevant since its basically a collector's car that will only appreciate in value.

They've been trying to sell the CLK DTM Roadster here for 2 years, nobody has bought. I don't think that car is worth the money IMO.

Over here it is 780k after taxes.

I saw one when I was in Germany. Beautiful Car! A bunch of cars in front of my hotel had Dubai plates on them (ferraris, r8's, etc). I guess they ship the cars in to hit the autobahn?

Actually mike s does know what he's talking about. I see you're a new member. Had you been here much longer, you would know that he is not from the U.S, and is a very respected senior member. No need to e-bash when disagreeing with somebody.

Now back to the original question. I've heard that there's only about 10 CLK-DTMs in the U.S. This is according to an ad where there is one for sale in california ad Canepa Design posted on dupont registry. Also a member on this board also has one.
