Long tube headers have the oem front cats bypassed

Short tube keeps the oem primaries still on.

The Kleemann headers for the C63, well for all 63 engines eliminate the factory cats and the factory manifold and replace them with their own manifold and high flow cats.

I have pictures coming up soon from our local installation. Because of the tight/cramped engine bay replacing the manifolds is very time consuming. However once you get those in, putting in the high flow cats and welding them to the factory exhaust is a breeze.

At the risk of regurgitating web info. I read that the C63 has the same engine as the other cars but the throttle plate is programmed to only open x%. Don't know the number but let's say the throttle only opens 85%. That means at full throttle, the car only goes to 85% throttle. That seems to be why it's so easy to get the car to 500+ HP simply by remapping the throttle. I'm sure more tinming etc is also possible like with most other NA retunes.
