CL600 vs SL63
Hello my name is Mikey. I'm havng a hard time choosing a new a new cruising car. I can't choose between a 2009 Mercedes-Benz CL600 and a 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL63. I've driven each car numerous times but I just can't decide what to take. I like the CL600 because its Gorgeous, fast and comfortable, but I also like the SL63 because its also fast and its a blast to drive (also very nimble). The SL63 also has a hard top roof (sunday morning drives). But the Cl600 feels more comfortable and its way more advanced than the SL. It also has loads of torque. I also drove the CL63, but it was a real upset to drive. I didn't really like it, CL's are better suit with V12's. I'm trading in my 05 Continental for one of these cars. It's such a pain in the ***. It has so many electrical mulfuctions on it. It's sitting in the shop right now and I no longer have a warranty on it. I had to pay $700 just to fix the A/c. They are offering me the CL600 for $136000 and the SL for 143000. Right in my price range. Any thoughts?

P.S If I get the CL I will add the AMG sport package to really set it off.

The thing is, I also own the S65 W221. I'm not sure if its going to feel like having the same car twice. That is why I'm having a problem on choosing between one of these. I'm not going back to Bentley again. I'm sticking with mercs.

The CL is a boat, it's a 2 door S-Class. You answered this one for yourself, get the SL63. It will feel a lot more nimble then the CL and the transmission/exhaust note will bring some healthy variety to your driving experience.

I guess your right, but there's just something with the CL that makes me want to get it. The smart thing to do is to get the SL63, idk. Don't get me wrong I do love both cars.

Sl63 all the way...You have a sedan already so can't go wrong with a hardtop convertible...its a blast to drive with the top down...better yet, SL65 FTW...I'm seriously considering one myself
