cls just face lifted so should have a little while.
the choice has now changed to ML63 (also little bit worry about the replacement issue) or BMW F01 (can't really stand the boss' car image and limited space in the 750Li trunk given the additional compressor.

Thanks for 2 more votes. still discussing with my wife...leaning towards ML because of the space.
btw, no GL here.
R8 is still pretty exclusive but you do see them around. Prob around 10 actively on the road and many more just sitting in garages at home.

It sounds as if you want performance along with the 4 doors? Any interest in CTS-V? Looks are growing on me a little but still on the fence. The performance is phenominal though. If I was looking for a large car and one of my top priorities was not high performance there's no doubt I'd be in an LS460. The car is flat out beautiful and IMO blows any 5 or 7 series Bimmer away in the styling dept. Pick up a used E55 or E63 for a song these days. Hold it for a year until the new body styles come out.

To say how pretty the LS460 is, look at the new bimmer 7-er!! they look the same. but since my boss rides one it would be awkward at work (a Korean thing).

CLS63 hand down.....Car looks amazing has room for 4, and is fast as hell....I own one and have owned M5, which seems a little cheap on the inside at least to me....S6, is a heavy slow car imo....and doesnt look good at all

DO NOT GET a CLS if you have a baby or one on the way. We got ours in May 06 and found out the wife was pregnant a month later... it is miserable getting the kid in/out. I am counting down the days till Aug 09 till the lease is up... also FYI MB would not cut me any kind of deal when i tried to trade up and break the CLS lease (this is MB of Englewood NJ).
ML63 on the other hand is an awesome choice and very baby friendly.
