So what do you guys think...
Ice Silver 08 RS4 (can anyone confirm that Ice Silver is in fact different than Avus Silver and a rare color?)
Titanium Package

Ipod Adapter
For 65,500 + taxes and all... which comes out to ~70,800
Should I wait for something better or take it? The color and specs are exactly what I want, but the price is rather high for my liking. The sticker on the thing is 77,035.
Or I can buy a 09 C63 with performance package and all the other goodies except for cf trim for 67 + tax and all.
8speed - I also had a very spirited test drive of an IS-F today and it was awesome! Once you hit 4k revs it's an absolute animal.

I've actually been on the hunt for a white E63 amg....mainly because I need a larger car to seat 5 but I agree with 8speed's comments completely on the IS-F. It's a FAST FAST car no matter how you cut it.
My top 3 choices were the: e63 AMG, then e60 m5 and the IS-F last. (Yes I know the IS-F is a smaller car but Lexus does not offer a GS-F yet)
I drove the IS-F back to back with the C63 and both equally fast on the butt dyno. I don't see anything the IS-F lacks to the C63 in terms of performance. Both have killer exhaust notes that are different but awesome in it's own way. The C63 has more rear seat room seating 5 and a bigger trunk ~ that's about it to me. Lexus NAVI is so much better to use and if you factor in Lexus Customer service, it's an easy choice for me.
It's interesting to note you can pick up a new 2008 IS-F for roughly $49k before taxes which is a killer deal over the C63!

it is too much money for such a bland car.i would buy the C63(who can resist the exhaust note?) if these are your only choices - you will be much happier and you will less likely wonder how it would have been to have gotten the other car (RS4)
only cool car Audi has IMO is the R8 - again - not supercar fast - see Motortrend video of it vs E AMG estate - think the estate takes it.
let's see how the V10 R8 does though

I have seen a a few c63s running around down here and I love the exhaust note. The deep paddle/thumping sound in different and intoxicating. It sounds similar to the big daddy SLR/SL exhaust notes. I wouldn't mind driving one for a DD but I love my 6 series for DD.

Yea, the RS4 is off of my list now, I just fell in a sort of trance over the engine I guess. 
I'll be looking at some more IS-F's and new Cayman S's. (yea I know it's in an entirely different class but hey it looks like a fun little car)
