Hey guys,

I'm new here to 6speed and I thought I would share my new personal best in the 1/4 mile. My friend and I ran at Sacramento raceway yesterday with very unfavorable conditions and still did well. The DA ranged from 2600-1600 or so, measured with a hand held DA device. I had several 11.3 passes at 127+ with the best of 11.236 @ 128.1 mph with a 1.689 60' time. I have a video of one of my last passes of the night. I didn't get the 11.2 run because it was unexpected, lesson learned. Here's a video of one of many 11.3 passes and a time slip of my 11.2 run. Please feel free to share your comments.

BTW...that's not my car idling so rough...LOL!

Thanks! I'm very happy that I'm breaking records during summer because it'll only get better from here.

I have PC custom tune, 82mm TB, VRP HEM's, FD mid-section, ASP 180mm pulley, and airbox.

What tires were you running? Awesome performance!

 

I'm running M/T Street Radial II's 265-40-18 with Koseis KT-S which weigh in at 42 lbs.

 

That is an incredible performance. A C6 Z06 wouldn't be able to match your E55 at Sacramento.

 

There was a C6 Z06 there with a new owner and he almost put into the wall on 2-3 shift.... Those things are fast but also very loose if you don't know how to drive it, scary.

There was only one street legal car there that ran a faster time and it was highly modded C5 Z06. I believe he ran a 11.18x with similar trap speeds. On the 2nd to last run he was one car ahead of me in the left lane, I got so excited! I proceeded to ask the car in front of me if I could slide in, he said "no, I also want to lineup with him", no problem. The Vette ran a low 11.4 and he ran a 14.8, I was like WTF. Oh well, maybe next time.

WTF was running a 14.8 that wanted to run the Z?

 

I forgot to mention there is a guy on the MBWorld forums that claims 1.6x 60fts with NON-DR street tires with his pullied E55. Comments?

Thanks. I just beat my PB again last night at Sacramento Raceway...one of your own attended (Enrique). I ran a 11.067 @ 130.133 with a 1.659 60' time. My goal was to be the first E55 in the 10's without nitrous, maybe next time with better weather. I ran this time in high 70's.

 

Amazing 130 mph!!!!!!
