CLS 55 AMG or Lotus Exiege s

I am about to buy my first relativly fast sports car, I drove friends (not owned ) A 599, GT2 , GT3 RS, CLK 63 BLACK, Marci, CL 550, M3, M5, M6 and so on... but never the above, so I have unfortunatly high expectaions for my budget and I can't decide - CLS 55/63 AMG or Lotus Exiege s?

Help!!!

That's a very strange choice question. Those two cars fulfill such different missions. One is a luxury sedan majoring in style, comfort and straightline performance. The other is a track-oriented, no frills sportscar. You can't really compare the two meaningfully without additional information such as how you want to use the car.

It's like asking - I'm going to the sporting goods store. What should I buy, baseball bat or tennis racquet?

I would go with the AMG all the way. Both the CLS55 and the CLS63 are awesome cars. I think they are plenty powerful and luxurious as well. Much more practical then the Lotus.

True... I am looking for a weekend ride, and after work. The driving experiance, the sound and the adrenalin is more important to me and that is how I look at both cars, even though the CLS is a luxury car it also has some serious power ( I assume...)

Sounds like you need to take a test drive. After driving the AMG, the choice will be clear.
