Can't control my C63 !

Hello friends,

I recently purchased my C63 and i have come to find out that it DOES NOT have the "sport package" which apparantly as i have been told has better handling. Well my problem is the fact that i'm basically seeing my traction light flash non stop. I can't seem to be able to control the freakin' thing. And forget offcourse about dis-engaging the traction, i've been told it's a death treat.

What should i do, i'm seriously thinking of putting some street slicks on the thing.

Uh, traction has nothing to do with "handling". You need to take a driving class honestly and learn how to handle the throttle.

If you only knew how many classes i have gotten already, i'll take you up at a track anyday my friend. It's either tires or it's just the car itself. YouTube C63 AMG and almost all reviews is that the car's handling couldn't be worse.

The newer mercs are supposed to have the most intrusive tc around. I'm not sure there is anything you can do other than turn it off. No facotry "sport" package could solve that. Maybe try some coilovers and different rubber for the back?

The AMG perfomance package has an LSD which the Stock C63 does not have. So yes, the factory package will increase grip on the rear axle.

AudiRS: That's what i heard too. Oh well, it's still i really amazing drive and i wouldn't give it up for the world, the right price, maybe. ha ha.

Moschin0: Palladium Silver. I have a feeling you're the guy who drives a black truck whom i had a quick 2 minute conversation on the highway a few weeks back (i read some of you're replies on the post which features a silver C63 next to Masjid Fatma in T. Abdullah Al Salem Area)

I've attached pictures, sorry for the horrible quality, i used my CrackBerry.

How about you upgrade to a LSD. I know Quaife makes a couple of diffs for the current cars.

Maybe some coilovers will help you out in the handling dept...

After reading those few sentences you clearly have taken enough driving classes to boost your ego and not your driving ability. Congrats!

Have you actually taken the car to the track or was it strickly on the street that you have problems with traction.

You didn't know that when you bought it?

Multiple classes and you're afraid to turn off TC?

When actually the open diff is if anything more predictable but has less traction for applying power out of the turns.

This is comical.
