I was riding with a friend in his 2007 S65 one night and it started raining. So we're driving and I noticed that the windshield wipers weren't coming on, but I also noticed that the water was moving up and to the side of windshield with the wiper coming on every 30 seconds or so. When I asked him why that happened, he jokingly said because the car comes like that, but then again, mostly everything he says comes out sounding like he's joking. Does the car come with some sort of fan or something that blows the water off the windshield?

 

Hahahaha! I don't think so. If it does, I definitely missed that option. If you wax your windshield it usually just beads right off and while driving you don't really need your windshield wipers. I waxed the windshield on my Range Rover and never needed the wipers. Haven't done it yet on the CL63, though. Give it a shot next time you wax your car.
