It appears MB didn't produce a 2010 SL63 AMG. Does that mean we should expect a new version for 2011? A friend of mine just picked up a 2010 E63 AMG and it is a sweet ride. Unfortunately I have a passion for convertibles so I started looking for the topless version of his car. It doesn't appear there is one?

There will be no changes for the 2011 SL...maybe wheels but that would be it and they are making a 2011 SL63. They just skipped a prod. year. 2011 SL's should be coming out sometime in March/April.

 

Is the 2011 SL not getting the new (older style) 5.5L V8 with twin turbo like the 2011 S63's? I've actually was going to do a 2009 S63 (demo at dealer) but am now waiting for new engine for 2011 model. I assumed it was all '63 models but I guess it doesn't explicitly say so anywhere.
