I paid $100K out the door. This equates to a selling price of $90K. This included $2.3K for registration for the year.

 

Congratulations and please post pictures, or at the least, tell us what colour it is.

BTW, looks like I'm going to have to try to sell the SL55. I have too many cars (plus a motorcycle), and the Audi S8 that I replaced with the SL55 has not sold. The S8 is not at all the same car as the SL55, but the Porsche GT3 is my "sports car," and the SL55 (or S8) my cruiser.
I'd much prefer to keep the M-B, but have too much $ just sitting there.

 

$2300 for registration?!?

My dad has an '04 SL55 and he only paid like $1000 for registration (maybe less).

And yes, we're in CA also.

 

I thought that was a bit high. I'll check the registration papers when I get them.

And the SL55 is staying in my stable. I'll just sell the S8 for less to get rid of it. The M-B is just too sweet!!
