just a curious question??

I had a talk with a friend and he was looking at new car again. One of our friends want him to pick up a c63. found a few nice one.

So we look up changing the oil in the amg car. Is it really $500 and with 2 oil plugs, and and another one you need to change the tensioner pulley? Are there anything else about maintenance that is a little ridiculous?

love the AMG cars but that a little crazy. pay to play right.

If you are looking at a new car then prepaid maintenance is available and the price is VERY negotiable at time of purchase. If you have a local shop that specializes in European imports then you can get quality maintenance for less than dealer pricing. The 6.2 motor is not especially expensive to maintain and has a near bullet proof reputation. Factor that in with the performance per dollar and it is a bargain. Simple tune will put you over 525 bhp lots more with headers etc.
