1st Authentic Junction Produce Mercedes Benz W140 in the States(Build Thread & Pics)!

Hi, I just wanted to share with you guys a car build my brother and I have worked on. We are still work on this VIP styled w140. I thought I create a thread to introduce myself and get know some car enthusiasts on this forum. I'm still new to this site, but I have been on many other car forums. This will probably be a sort of build thread to current look. As the car progresses I will update the thread as much as possible. Right now these are some photos from day one to the day of the show on July 18, 2010. I'll update them when I get the chance to. The car is not fully done yet. NOS Forum Fest, in which we won two trophies for this car. And in total our team took home four trophies in total. I know this car is probably not everyone's cup of tea, but hopefully I can get some opinions from you guys. We're still working on it right now, to get it where we want.

I also want to take this chance to thank Junction Produce, for such a incredible kit, and all the interior VIP accessories, they are great! Also want to thank the body shop that did a stunning job on the work.

Here we go fellas :

This is when we got it for like the first week we changed the grille, euro headlights, euro corners, and tint.

The front bumper:

Rear bumper:

Some of the stuff waiting to be put on the car:

This was taken when we drop the car off at the body shop. We took about a week and a half to detail the exterior of the car. To get this shine on the car. Oh yea also changed out to euro light smoke LED tail lights.

These photos were actually taken by the body shop, so thanks to them for some these photos:

Test Fits:

The finished progress at the shop( these are when it's not lowered much yet):

These are with the winter wheels for non-show use:

Day of the show on July 18th, 2010, lowered with all the accessories we have at the time:

These two pics were of the headlight modded to incorporate LEDs. These LEDs are controlled on/off by a switch so I don't have to have it on when driving, thought it was pretty neat (sorry for poor quality pics, from my phone). I could probably say we're the first to have these headlights and first to put LEDs into headlights on a 140.

A photo from show at Formula D, I want to thank everyone that was there, and got to meet a lot of people. Also want to say big thanks to the organizers of Slammed Society/Fatlace, and Formula D. Thanks for picking our car as best vip award, and giving us the prize.

Nice build, curious why you didn't start with a newer S-Class Sedan?

Thank you for the compliments!

I chose this particular S class style because I haven't seen anyone build this type of car in VIP styling. So I thought I give it a shot. And I always loved this body style. I do plan to do a newer one, maybe w221, in the future.
