Hi all...yep my first Benz. 05 SL65, with a heat exchanger and no mufflers. Was told it was flashed too, but it just didn't feel that fast. So I went to the track Wednesday night. Drove around the water box...took off nice and easy.....11.81, 118mph first pass..yeah, it only got worse after that...

Then I went to EPL to see what kind of power it has on their Mustang dyno. 494whp/648wtq at 18psi. I thought these were supposed to make 22psi?
Anyway love the car...and now shopping for a tune...

1/4 mile times are pretty good for the summer time.
On the m275 the boost spikes and then tapers off.
Can you post your boost curve from the dyno?

Yup spikes at 18psi or so..then starts to taper off at 4300-4400...down to about 12.5-13lbs...TQ drops off proportionately, but HP carries out a little more...
I guess the PDF file is too big to post? Not sure how to reduce the size. It was done on a Mustang dyno..uncorrected, no smoothing , etc...

you can email the file to me shardul01@gmail.com

Can you do the following
1. Check what your IATS are?
2. Are you familiar with all the boost lines on this car, there are a couple you can check.

Email sent.

That is a question I have for the masses. Is there a user interface we can use for MB's?
I have Vagcom for my RS6 and used Durametric for my 996 Turbo..Anything I can use for the SL65?

I tapped into the boost line at the MAP sensor to check boost on the dyno. Haven't gone any further than that yet.

?????
Traction control was off at the track and we put it in "dyno mode" on the dyno?

Went to the Eurocharged DC open house in Sterling, VA yesterday. Was a big hit..many nice cars and I heard a lot of dyno action. Got my ECU/TCU flashed and hit the road. Didn't hang around for the festivities..wanted to beat some traffic so I could get home at a reasonable hour.
I will try to get back on the dyno and post my improvements with Eurocharged tune.

Also pics of your RS6 please. It sounds awesome with the 6 speed conversion. Post interior pics of the stick too.

Sorry...stock TUNE. I don't think the muffler delete is adding any power...

PM me your email address for RS6 pics...

I would be curious to know if muffler delete would add power. It might but it also might take away some low end torque. Email me pis of the RS6 to ryanguercio@gmail.com thanks.

My experience says it probably adds 10-20hp..and I could use some TQ delete down low...
I'll send pics soon...
