considering a 2011 ML350 bluetec....need advise please
I currently own a 2006 Porsche cayenne S which is my wife's daily driver. It has approx. 131K miles on it and I'm thinking it may be time to change to something newer and more fuel efficient. I looked at new cayennes but to be honest I really don't like the basic exterior looks of the "S", but don't want to spend the money for a GTS or TT. I also looked at the Audi Q7 diesel but my wife thinks it looks like a mini van....so I came across a 2011 ML350 bluetec with AMG wheels, running boards and a bunch of other ungrades that really make it look sporty. I haven't had a chance to test drive it yet, but what does cause concern is that it is priced much cheaper then any 2011 cayenne. I would really be interested to hear opinions of the ML350......how do they drive?? any mechanical issues I should be aware of?? overall opinion of the vehicle??

Have you bought the ML350 BlueTec? I just purchased a 2010 with 60k miles over the weekend. It has the full extended warranty for another 14 months and the powertrain extended warranty for 26 months. Would not have bought it without it. I haven't yet brought it home as the inspection showed the nox sensor to be defective as well as the AdBlue tank warmer. So it has been at the dealer since I got it but all work will be covered under the ext. warranty, saving me a $2000 repair cost right off the bat... So I'm guessing that frequent failures and expensive parts is the reason for them depreciating so quickly. Anyway, let us know what path you decided to take and share your experience with us all. Cheers!
