Very pleased with the results for a first time run. My car is bone stock. The car should do alot better but I need more practice. I also met the owner of Dragtimes.com. Nice guy, He drives a nice modded Pewter E55 with the K1 upgrade. He managed an 11.9 1/4! Got some great pointers and tech help from him. Here is one of his runs...

Yes, Managed a 12.7 1/4 mile in the Carrera S. I think it was at 107mph. Cant remember.

 

There is a local guy that runs 10.5 in his modded E55! Its crazy fast. My best is 11.7 @ 118.9

 

Thanks to MB world. Here was the crappier of my two runs. This one, the car was in Dyno mode and I was not used to having the traction control and ABS completely off. Definately would have given me better runs with practice though.

Is there any compilation of ET's/Speeds for the various cars that would also detail their mods? I see a time here and a time there, but no sticky thread or anything like that which would provide a lot of info in one place.

Just met a bunch of new guys at Moroso. Not great with names.

 

I ran a 8.11@ 87mph at IMM 1/8th mile track with the tires spinning like crazy. My car is also bone stock. I think I am going to get a AA tune and an ASP pulley very soon though. I have to get over to Moroso soon to try the 1/4 mile.

 

not possible... 8.11? common dude. 11.8 I can believe.

That would translate into a low 12 1/4 mile. My car dynoed at 402 whp on a notoriously conservative dyno.

 

how bad would it be for the your 997s agasint the e55 on a highway pull?
