I don't understand. OK, so he lost the keys. How is he supposed to start the car? With the crowbar? What a nonce.

 

From what I recall, he didn't lose his keys. The door was just damaged in such a way that he couldn't open it. So he tried to pry it loose to get inside.

Although why he didn't climb in from the passenger side is beyond me

 

They seemed to have tried to enter the rear door on that side also, I doubt they did that before trying the passenger door though

to us it does not make sense cuz the relativity of money is different for us than him. To him this is equivelant to an yugo or civic perhaps.
