Thanks all. My local M-B dealer finally found an E63 for me to drive. Did back-to-back drives, and have bought an E55, and kept $40K+ in my pocket.

And buying it at 3 PM on New Year's Eve was even more fun. The price for the CPOd '05 E55 started at $64K, an "Internet Special." I finally paid $56K OTD. 22K miles, no Nav or Pano roof, neither of which I wanted.

BMW is more of a sports car hands down......more feel in bimmers than in benz

from all that i have read the e55 is faster in first then the e63 just screams in 2nd

It would be cool is Kleeman made a kompressor system ( superchager kit ) for the E63 AMG .... that would be the best of 2 worlds ?
