No kidding...even if you were able to pick which 8 games to get, there aren't 8 games total worth getting at launch...

Alrightly fellow 6speeders, this has got to be the weekend. Does anyone have a connection at Target, Best Buy or wherever to find out when the next batch of Wii cnosoles will be released. Everytime I call my local places I get some idiot who says something along the lines of "they don't tell us when we are getting new ones." I can stand in line early tomorrow (Friday) or Sunday and the sooner the better, this quest to purchase a nintendo is killing me. Anyone heard of anything being released tomorrow? Hook a brother up!

 

I think EB Games/Gamestop is getting some in tomorrow

 

supposedly there is going to be another launch this weekend. try toy's r us on sunday morning, i heard they are hoarding their shipments this week in anticipation for a sunday morning ad.

 

yea, if I need to I was going to do that at Best Buy because there is one two seconds from my house. Just trying to find out if a store was going to release any tomorrow. It's my day off and I live close to a BB, Walmart and Target. Was hoping one of those would release some units tomorrow. I don't even bother calling anymore because the employees don't know sh*t and even if they do they aren't saying anything.

 

I was just at the Target store in San Mateo, and they said Sunday a.m. Supposedly, their upcoming Sunday newspaper ad will state that they have them in stock.

 

All the stores ive heard of are saving their stock for Sunday. If you miss out, Walmart on the 6th is supposedly a good bet, they are hoarding their Wii stock to kick off their 4 day sale or something like that.

Anyways, Wii's will be pretty plentiful in a couple days. If I were you, I'd pick Circuit City. They've been pretty quiet about both PS3's and Wii's so I'd expect the lines to not be as long there.

 

From what I can tell, the Wii's will be in stock... but it seems as though places will sell what they have pretty quick.
