yes, very nice home. i don't know that market in that area at all, but that is damn cheap compared to the bay area. your sister may find a small condo for that price.

Of course Bay Area will be more, but for the greater Philly area that actually isnt "cheap" by any means. We have a GREAT housing market compared to other 'large markets' in the USA.

My home is a 20 month old, 3 bedroom townhome (2050 sq feet), one car garage, similar features to that one (just not decorated as nice - yet) and i paid WAY less than that!

That home is in a nicer area, close to major roadways, and (yes this actually matters in that area) not THAT far from New York City. That is a sweeeet townhome for that price imho. Best of luck with the sale

And perhaps even Better Luck on findin a place in the Bay area!!!

$389k for a condo? good luck - it will be < 900 sq ft... town homes in the suburbs w/ 1100 sq ft are going for $650-700k...

Not just more, a house like that in a similar neighborhood will be 2 to 3 times the cost.

chuck, you're right. i was thinking exactly "apartment" type condo.
