Good Porsche Shop in Delaware area

Looking for a good shop to install a set of PSS10's and a shop to install and paint a rear turbo bumper. Anybody have any suggestions?

I had thought about giving them a call. i participated in their rally last year and was impressed by their performance shop. A friend of mine just told me that the new owner was shutting down the performance shop. If the are, will they still install aftermarket parts?

Absolutely. Hell, Porsche Main Line is currently corner balancing and realigning my car as we speak.

David, their new service manager, is a great guy. They'll take care of you.

MrBonus,

Why did you have to have your car re-aligned after you had the coilover install done at AWE? Did'nt they do an alignment for you?

I wanted to wait for the springs to settle before I got it corner balanced. Also, I was unlucky enough to have had an old man run me off the road and into a curb a week ago so now was as good a time as ever to get the alignment and corner balancing done.

Greetings fellow Delaware inhabitants . I just bought a 2002 996TT and a check engine light came on right after I left the dealer - P0300, 304, 305, 306. They agreed to resolved it but I want to do it local instead of driving 2 hours. Is Main Line (or Winner) more expensive than Dougherty or Fairwinds, like the general rule of Dealerships?

Both Dougherty and Fairwinds will probably be less expensive, and both aer great shops. I just tend to default to the dealership since it looks better on all the records for future buyers.

Where in Delaware is Fairwinds located? Does anybody have a contact there? I would really like to find a good independent that I can rely upon. Winner just seems to expensive with long lead times. Has anybody ever used Richmonds on route 13?

Ok thanks. I'm not worried about the records, as I will be tracking the car (surely a much bigger concern ). Are both capable of a full range of modifications as well?
