Porsche Brake DIY day... April 4th
Porsche Brake DIY day... April 4th
Gunther needs to do his brakes, so We're going to open the shop/ lift up for him on Saturday April 4th. If anyone wants to come spectate and learn how to service their own brake system (Pads/rotors/Fluid) this would be a good time to come and take notes/pics... We only have about 3-4 hours that day, but if we get it done early enough, I may lead you guys on a local backroad romp for about an hour.

I live in Spotsylvania County Va. I'll be sending the address in PMs to those who wish to attend. It's about an hour and 10 minutes from the beltway, or if you're in Herndon area (I drive there 3 days per week from my home) it's 70-ish miles and about 1hour 15 minutes with no traffic.
22553 is the Zipcode and Rt.3 and Rt.20 are good reference points... I'm 1 mile from the Wilderness battlefields of Civil War fame, and 4 miles from Chancelorsville battlefields of the same...

It's probably a "little closer" as any online search on 22553 puts you out by Spotsy Courthouse, which is about 16 miles further out... But yea, it's a hike!

Wish I could make it Mike. It was fun last time. For you guys who say you're going, be sure to show up because it's worth the drive! There are some back roads you can take to make the drive more interesting.
