Seeking L or F ride-along

I must admit that I've long had the desire to ride in a Lamborghini or Ferrari, but the opportunity has never presented itself. I can offer a ride in my Ariel Atom in exchange. I have a full face helmet for my passenger, assuming its medium-ness fits your melon, but you'd be fine with sunglasses or other eye protection should you desire the Clarkson face warping effects. I personally prefer the helmets for the additional protection and the ability to speak via intercom, but it is your choice.

I'm in the Fairfax Station area.

So, you aren't asking to borrow one for a wedding, huh?

Hey, I love the Ariels. I may have seen yours at the Redskins car show last year? Shouldn't have a problem here getting your request. Summer time, slow time around this site. Good luck!

Scott, that was me. Datax, you're right, too. I've been to Summit Point a few times since - the last time a week ago mixing it up with a GT3, ZR1 and a slew of CTS-Vs. If it isn't Mark his orange framed Atom, it is probably me. The one in your avatar was Mark's first one, but it has been sold, so I think there are only 2 in the DC area.

The offer for the Escort station wagon is tempting, but only if I get to drive.

Yup, it was Mark in the picture. Didn't know it has been sold. Met him at the SCCA race last time and he was checking out the Formula Fords, I think. Once I get my back fixed, I'll see you guys soon again at the track. It is great to see you on this board. Hope you get the ride you're looking for. If you're going Italian, let it be a Ferrari please. Also, try the ferrarichat.com because as far as I know, not a lot of f cars owners around here.

Curt - those Ariel's are crazy. I saw Jay Leno do a piece on his Ariel and a couple other similar rides. They are extremely lightweight. It must be INSANE!!! Looking forward to seeing you out this Sunday for the Cars & Coffee.
