Gearheads - need your help w/ some elbow grease...
Mid-Atlanticers,
Need some help. I'm mechanically challenged. I can just about change wheels on the car and fill up the gas, that's about it. Hahahahaha. So, I'd like to recruit some assistance. I want to slowly put the C4S back to stock, so there's a few steps I need to do and would like some "experts" with experience to help me out. Here's what I need:
1.) Need to remove the tequipment rollbar w/ cross brace.
2.) Need to remove fabspeed muffler bypass pipes and put stock exhaust back on (including stock tips b/c they're on the bypass pipes now)
3.) Need help removing the Misha GT2M wing and reinstalling the stock retractable wing
Thanks guys. Maybe we can make a Tech Day out of this and a great learning experience.
Berk

Count me in... I will gladly give you a hand and we could do everything in my garage or yours as long as you don't mind using jack stands.
By the way, I am close on pulling the trigger on a small lift similar to what is in the link posted below. I am about 95% sure I will toss this on the left hand side of my garage once Torey gets my garage floor completed.

Guys - thanks for all the help. YES - you are all correct (except Clarke saying I'm a PUSS.....ahhahahaahahahahaha
)
Reason is I'm going to turn the car back to stock. I want to keep the wheels and rollbar, but willing to part out all the other stuff (bypass pipes, wing, OEM springs) and leave my options open of either slapping the car up on ebay or trading in. I'm getting the itch for a TT or GT3 to be honest guys. Need some more power and a little change is good for everyone.
Allen - Your garage would be perfect when you're ready. I still need to find a set of turbo twists (talking to a guy in NJ as well) but may go with a set also that you sent me from ebay.....not to mention I prefer local seller b/c it's going to be hard w/ the new guy around to do the day trips back and forth out of state to pick up extra parts.
Dominic - Your white 7TT is seriously inspiring me to step it up!!!!
Gunther - sounds great buddy - could we possibly do all the work in Allen's garage (right next to my house) if you have time???
DJ - turbo HIVES is more like it bud....hahahahaha
John (deckman) - still considering the GT3, TT or something unique but STILL P-Car for sure. Boxster I gave to my dad, so he's all set, so STARTING FRESH gents!!!!
Bottom line - Clarke, Allen, and Gunther - there's obviously food and beverage in it for you guys for helping out.....I really appreciate it guys and look forward to learning from all of you guys. Maybe we slap some CIGARs in the mix too.

Oh yeah, as for timing, it's when it best suits everyone. Allen - I'm guessing we can wait for your lift, otherwise, I've also got 4 jack stands and have NP putting the car up on those to change out the exhaust again.
hey st4rk, yeah, i agree. I'm just an idiot when it comes to this stuff.....hahahahaha.....when i had them installed by IMA Motorsport, it took about 3 hours I think for them. Had to take off the rear wheels, (no bumper removal required), then slipped them off and the bypass pipes on. Just gotta get some WD40 cuz it's been YEARS!!!!!
Bummer Dom that you can't make it to TPC bud. Looking forward to seeing your Turbo'd Cayman there. I'll do the test run w/ the new race headers and boost controller and give you my synopsis if you'd like. Hahahahahaha ;-P
